Back from Cape Cod

We just returned from Cape Cod. All the watercolors are from the cottage where we stayed. The pen and inks are from the National Seashore,
the cottage and some of our favorite places. I am always inspired by the sea and skies of the cape….the colors and light
These drawings have all been done on my mac with the program linked below….there is a spider in the program that is lots of fun to play as well =o) I enjoyed drawing these pieces with no plan, no forethought…..free drawing…I often return to flocks of birds and patterns in nature….transfixed by the swirling schools of fish and flocks of birds…I never tire of them….hope you enjoy them =)

Nature has always been a strong influence in my life. I teach botanical art, nature journaling, work in clay and dabble in haiku. My strongest life influence is the bright spirit of my son who is always with me and my husband and critters; two cats and two dogs.
