Been enjoying early mornings at my drawing desk….the tulip tree my latest drawing finished this morning. Snow has finally come to NY….I have missed you snow ~ . ~
Apple blossoms

I am beginning a watercolor of a beautiful apple tree branch in full bloom. I haven’t done a new big piece in a while…I decided to share it step by step. These first tissues are of the blossoms which I must capture in the first few days as they deteriorate quickly. Here are my first two tissues….and a quick color study……more coming soon. Hope you enjoy watching my process :)
Nature has always been a strong influence in my life. I teach botanical art, nature journaling, work in clay and dabble in haiku. My strongest life influence is the bright spirit of my son who is always with me and my husband and critters; two cats and two dogs.
